The Cișmașu Equestrian Center, located 12 km from Brașov, between the towns of Bod and Hărman, was founded out of passion more than 15 years ago. Constantly evolving, the center offers numerous services to horse and nature lovers, the most popular being nature trail rides and pony rides.
In addition, we can accommodate groups of children for birthday parties, name days, or activities organized by preschools and schools.
And for those who want more than just a simple horseback ride, we’ve created our rural leisure packages—all-inclusive experiences that combine horseback riding, accomodation and authentic meals in a spectacular natural setting.
Whether you choose a relaxing day or a stay of a few days, you’ll discover the simple pleasures of nature, the tranquility of the place and the joy of being around horses.
We have two outdoor riding arenas where we offer introductory horseback riding lessons.
You can enjoy drinks, juices, coffee and tea on the terrace, or cool off on hot days with ice cream.
You can relax in cozy cabins overlooking the water and hills, where the tranquility and scenery create the perfect atmosphere for a break surrounded by nature.
The road from the highway to the center is paved and is about 500 meters long, and the parking lots are gravel.
Required equipment includes a helmet, which we provide for you.
Regardless of your riding level, you will be accompanied on the trail by a staff member from our center. If you are a beginner, the staff member will walk alongside you on the ground, leading the horse by the halter. Otherwise, the staff member will serve as your guide while riding alongside you.
Authentic dishes await you, prepared with local ingredients and served with care, so you can rediscover the simple, delicious flavors of meals from days gone by.
Located at the foot of Lempeș Hill and near some of the Olt River’s older meanders, the scenery here is breathtaking, no matter the season.
